An all-round sportsman, in 1894 Ernest Bltyh helped found the Vienna Cricket and Football Club together with his brother Edward and other fellow Englishmen including Harold W. Gandon. Ernest and Edward Bltyh owned a large department store called Stone and Blyth in Vienna at the time.
