About

In 1911, Edward Kleinadel won the junior event at the tournament in Langfurth. At the very first ever Polish National Championships, in 1921, he won three events: the men’s singles, men’s doubles (with Jerzy Kowalewski) and mixed doubles (with Jadwiga Żochowska). Edward Kleinadel represented Poland in the Davis Cup in 1926 and 1927, losing all four of his singles matches and two doubles matches. From 1922 he lived permanently outside Poland, first in the USA, then in France. He died after undergoing surgery for appendicitis.
