About

A very wealthy businessman, Albert C. Bostwick played lawn tennis mainly at the tournaments held on the French Riviera early in the season. He was also a gifted horseman and yachtsman and liked driving cars. He married Marie Lillian Stokes in New York City in June 1898; they had five children together, their last child, a son called George, being born in 1909, two years before Albert Bostwick’s untimely death in 1911 at the age of 33
