Edward Stanley Knight was the eldest of the four lawn tennis-playing brothers from Argentina. His brothers were Henry, Lionel and Albert. In 1909, Edward and Henry Knight became the first players from Argentina to take part in the Wimbledon tournament, where they both entered the men’s singles event and took part in the men’s doubles event together.
