At the latter sport he was a member of the German team, together with Daniel Prenn, at the first Table Tennis World Cup in 1926. Due to the changing political situation in Germany Hans-Georg Lindenstaedt moved to Switzerland in the 1930s, but returned to his homeland after the end of World War Two.
