Frederick N. Warden was a member of the Indian Police Department in Bengal in British India. He joined the service in September 1890 as Assistant Superintendent and was made Superintendent in August 1901. From April 1906 to April 1907, he was Assistant to the Deputy General. In March 1917, he was appointed Deputy Inspector General. He retired in July 1925. In later life he lived in the coastal town of Bexhill-on-Sea in East Sussex.
