I'm wondering if Harman, Dave from Berkeley 1968 draw and Harmon, Dave from Salt Lake City 1969 are/is the same player. ITF has Harmon but not Harman.

I have a sneaky suspicion that Robert Brien and Robert O’Brien is the same person. They both from Australia and present in the draws during the same period, but never together in the same draw.

Could well be! As soon as we know for sure I will change the info.

Brian, Bobby (AUS) from River Oaks tournament 1968 maybe also him...

River Oaks tournament 1968. Savy, Ivon DOB - 08/07/1948
Mamaia 1968. Ghenov, ? is Genov, Ljuben.
Trettin’s first name is Ulrich -http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christine_Errath
Yashmakov’s first name is Kiril rather than Kirill (this is Russian spelling, not Bulgarian).
ITF spells Velev’s first name as Stojan (it is closer to how it is pronounced than Stoyan)

You have Howarth, D.P. and Howorth, D.P. in the database of players. Both from Britain. Most likely the same person.

Tulsa pro 1968. It is not clear if Drysdale played Ralston once or twice - in RR and in the final.

Tampa Dixie 1968. Rapp, Herbert DOB - 9-22-1948.
La Jolla 1968. Bohmstedt, Richard L. – probably misspelled Bohrnstedt.
Salisbury 1968. Sanjines, Javeier – strange first name. Are you sure it is not just misspelled “ Javier”?
Moscow 1968. Pestchanko, Valeri is spelled as “Pescianko” elsewhere. Pybarchik, Myacheslav is Rybarczyk, Mieczyslaw (funny confusion: in Cyrillic R is spelled identical to Latin P).
Sepp, Khendrick is spelled as Sepp, Hendrick by ITF. He is Estonian. Valery Bezverkhov is from Uzbekistan (USSR at that moment).

WCT Twin cities championships 1968. How could Ralston play for 3rd place and in the main final? More likely it was Buchholz playing for 3rd place.
Indianapolis 1968. Ortiz, Tony DOB - 11-27-1949. ITF considers him Puerto-Rican. McCormick, Don DOB - 12-4-1945.
How could Lleyton Hewitt (b. 1981) play in Bloemfontein 1967? Most likely it was Bob Hewitt. Viljoen, D. is David.

Thanks as always Mick! Its good having someone watching my step!

Alex
